Lo and behold, here is one of the most notorious records out of the Texas punk scene... and rightly
so. The Big Boys hailed from Austin, and were one of the prime movers on the early skatepunk
scene. They kicked this monster out in 1979 in a edition of 500 hand numbered copies (also, every
copy I've seen has individual designs done by the band in pastel markers) and kept putting out great
records into the mid 80's. I was fortunate to pick up this unplayed copy for a song (as well as the
first 45 by The Next, but thats a different story) and I can say it's a rewarding record as far as tunage
and DIY efforts go. The entire Big Boys discography (omitting a later semi offical outtakes LP) can
be had on 2 CDs from Touch And Go. What are you waiting for, stupid?
