Lo and behold, Australia's Psycho Surgeons. This utterly primo 45 was released in 1977 in a pig's
blood-spattered sleeve. The way I heard it, after the band finished "printing" the covers, the rather
drunken drummer took a cab home. It also happened that a particularly nasty murder had happened
near by (Chopper Read????naaahh)and the cab driver remembered taking a drunken, blood soaked
punk rocker home. He was released from police custody after a few days once it was determined
it was in fact, pig blood. Dunno if it's true or not, but it sounds nice. This record has 2 songs that
say more in the 4 minutes it takes to play both than any yawnsville wannabe snotty NOFX record
you can be pained to mention. 1977, EMI custom press, 500 copies.
